Parking was good

This was a bad experience from the moment of check in. It took about 25 minutes to even get to the front desk even though there were only 2 people in front of us. While I stood there I asked the front desk person "Lala" if there was a way to check in online because she seemed to be struggling with the people she was trying to check in at the time. Her response was "Wat u tryin to say?! I'm SLOW??" It was incredibly unprofessional and rude. I was in fact trying to offer a solution to her obvious bewilderment of basic job duties. In addition, my child was standing there and he felt nervous and that she was being aggressive towards his mom. The room was beat up, the AC was loud all night, neither one of us could sleep. There were plastic buckets in the lobby to catch leaks from the ceiling. The room also had a weird smell. I tried to email and call the GM whose card I took from the front desk (Moynassa Gonzalez) 3 times over the course of 2 days, emailed her 3 times. She did not call me when she said she would in the first email and did not answer any subsequent emails or calls. Apparently she only works from 10-4pm according to the front desk on "certain" days. Hyatt used to be a brand you could count on, gross. Needless to say I will NOT be returning.

Beach convenience but anything on the Seawall is convenient

Couldn’t find the outdoor pool and booked here because of an indoor pool. Only hotel in Galvaston with one. I did my research. I e stayed in most over a number of years . It was freezing. So cold I just left
