Assisi Panoramic Rooms

This is a small 3 room operation, perfectly outfitted for comfort and style, by a Mom and her son. Great air conditioning , too. They both were very hospitable, and the son communicated in excellent English via WHATSAPP. I rented a room without a view (only one has a "view") , but it was available and they let me upgrade. They also arranged for an English speaking taxi driver to drive me to farther away places for 2 days. This place is on a very steep street, with several good (and one bad) hotel restaurants nearby, and a TERRIFIC morning coffee/croissant, etc. cafe just up the street, on the left. Wonderfully quiet at night -- and the "view": wow!!

Assisi streets are too steep for someone my age to get very far on foot -- and in this summer's heat!

Super clean room and with an amazing view from the balcony. Very central. Shower has force - even too much, I got water everywhere my first time! Aircon is quite good. I appreciated the reasonably priced cab they arranged for me from the station.

There was a kettle but no cups or spoons and 1.5 glasses. Sachets of tea but not coffee. Not a big deal though, I would stay again. It’s good to have a clear idea of what this place offers - these are solely “Rooms” (en suite), as the title says. There’s no person on the premises - though Michele is very responsive on text - and no breakfast. You can step out and find a cafe, but when it’s super hot, you don’t really want to step out. A few more breakfast provisions and crockery would be great.

The location was great. It’s in the old town itself. The staff was very helpful, they also recommended some places to eat. the place is modern and very clean.

The sink is soooo tiny but that’s not really that big of a deal

The location is great and the view is amazing. Check in was super easy, being met by the host. Communicaton was excellent. We were provided with local recommendations on coffee and food. I would recommend Assisi Panaromic Rooms.

Our stay at Assisi Panoramic Rooms was perfect. The room and bathroom were spotless and there wasn't anything more we needed. Michele was a super helpful host and went out of his way to make us feel at home!

Wonderful location I n the center of Assisi. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and the people who rented the room were so kind and helpful!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Assisi Panoramic Rooms. Located half way up the hill between the main square Piazza del Comune and the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi with its own private entrance it is a very convenient location to explore Assisi. The room is very modern with good Wi Fi and a 'Smart TV' which was very useful as it meant we could watch GB News online !. The bathroom is very modern with a good shower. The view from the balcony over the plains of Umbria are outstanding - a real highlight of this accommodation. Family run - Michelle was a pleasure to deal with - he communicated before, during and after our stay and was there for all our needs. He greeted us at the apartment and gave us recommendations for local restaurants and coffee bars. We also met Michelles's mother who was also very friendly and helpful. Our favourite coffee bar was Pasticceria sensi which is a few yards up the hill on the left - run by two charismatic brothers who sell great cakes and coffee where you can sit outside admiring the view. We also had Prosecco their mid afternoon one day. One of our favourite restaurants was also a few yards up the hill on the left called Buca Di S. Francesco - where you can eat on a lovely terrace - it is run by a an elderly gentlemen who set the restaurant up in 1973 and is still running it today and serving customers. The waiters wear suits and look very smart. The food was first class as was the wine. We found the wines generally in Assisi superb !. We would definitely return to the Assisi Panoramic Rooms.
