Peaceful,Great Service and Good Food

Everything, our room was nice and cozy. We appreciated the fireplace and aircon in the room. Beautiful decorated and neat. We had a very tasy breakfast and dinner.

Nothing major but the toilet water took quite long to refill after flushing however pur expectations were exceeded for the purposes of a girls night out trip.

The attitude of the staff and the location

The location is quiet and secluded, perfect for a romantic getaway

The accomodation is average for a 4-star rated place. It could just be the room I booked

I stayed at this venue many, many years ago before COVID, the conference and spa facilities were not built and I must say little changed and noted the actual venue could do with some TLC. Still a lovely place with great walks, real helpful and friendly staff. We had a birthday in our group and the chef whipped up a most delicious cake we really enjoyed. The meals were delicious and nicely presented. All in all a great weekend stay not too far from JHB. The spa massages were great and good value for money.

Whilst it is great to have an electronic break, WiFi in the room was dismal and the dongal provided, did little to improve matters. Too cold to try the outdoor shower!!

Country feel and breakfast

No Wifi in the rooms! Made working very difficult. Network is patchy where it is available.

The staff is amazing Jeremy was always checking if everything was ok. Lovely setting and very comfortable

It's really beautiful

Breakfast and also dinner was very good. Plenty options to select from. The chef and servers are doing a great job. Pleasant and attentive. Although we did not use the pool (too cold) it looked great as did the surrounding areas. The walks are all really lovely. Easy to find, walk through. We especially enjoyed the hanging bridge! The games room/s. We were tempted into playing table tennis (after how many years!) We decided to take a walk right up to the Hilltop house. Although a bit strenuous, it was a great walk with beautiful views. We will hopefully visit the HH in the near future and bring more friends for a stayover. We will definitely be recommending Whispering Pines to all our families and friends. Thank you to especially Israel who did a splendid job explaining, showing etc etc. He was most helpful! Eish I can't think of anything.........oh wait ..... the area around the toilets near the spa definitely pong a bit - on the outside.
