The room doesn’t have microwave, and any refrigerator for the price, there’s a tv, but i couldn’t use it because the remote wasn’t working. I couldn’t change the channel or turn up the volume, I could only open and close it.

The property is comfortable with lots of parking. I especially liked the cabinet near the door to hold clothing. It is also in an excellent location, close to everything we needed.

The hallways and our room is badly in need of a refresh.

The staff was uniformly cheerful and helpful. The hotel says “recently renovated”, and everything does seem fresh and new. Our below-the-window, individual heating and cooling was quieter than in most Hiltons. I saw coffee in the lobby each morning, and at least one warm hors d’oeuvre in the evening. Rooms are serviced every other day. I guess this hotel is close enough to Boston that weekend prices can be higher than weekday. We had a X16-line room, which was quiet and comfortable. But there were some problems: Because the shower curtain rod is not level, both ends of the curtain tend to move away from the wall. I found that the shower diverter would not work after the temperature was set at the faucet; I had to pull up the diverter before turning on any water. It can take one minute for the hot water to arrive, but there is plenty available at that point. The shower head is OK, but definitely water-saving. The new cabinet that hides the compact refrigerator is so snug (no vents) that it was hot inside, and the refrigerator didn’t cool enough until I propped the door open with a rolled-up sock. (I bought soymilk because they don’t have a non-dairy option at breakfast.) The flat-screen TV was sharp and clear, but the program guide was often unavailable, and at one point, there was no programming available. I think it was provided by DishTV. Perhaps because the hotel was not full, there was no buffet breakfast option. But the full breakfast items we chose were hot and attractive, and especially with the Hilton online “Includes Breakfast” rates, the price was very good. (It would just be hard to grab coffee and a Danish for a ten-minute, rushed breakfast!) Although the hotel is close to a major highway, there is a traffic light for the hotel’s street that makes it easy to enter and exit. Burlington Mall is just next door for multiple dining options. But the hotel location is surprisingly quiet. It was a 12-mile drive to Alewife Red-Line Garage, in case the Boston “T” is in your plans. You have to download an app to pay for parking at Alewife. Note: I may have reviewed this hotel before, but at least two years ago.
