"The worst Hyatt ever - Hyatt Columbus-North Georgia"

Never stay at Hyatt Columbus. It was the worst experience ever. The hotel itself is fine. The staff was -10 the rudest I have ever encountered at a Hyatt and I stay at many. I will never go here again. EVER. The worst that I forgot to put on my survey to the Hyatt itself is that the cleaning lady walked into our room while we were asleep. They stood there - when I got up FREAKED OUT, she said 'I'm looking to see if you have a ice bucket". I said - get out. Do you not see the sign on the door! Awful.

"I will NOT be staying again!"

The location was decent.

Room not updated and it gives ancient! I plugged my charger up to the tv area and sparks came out. The elevators have black dried gum in them. It just didn’t give what I expected for the price!

If you traveling to Columbus, GA fir business (or leisure) I strongly recommend Hyatt Place - North Columbus. No, it isn’t categorized a five-star hotel, but they ALWAYS deliver 10-star quality service.

"Bad Customer Service when Hotel is Over Sold."

Hotel oversold and not able to accommodate me in the room type that I have booked. Tried to get out of it by offering a refund but I explained to them Hyatt corporate policy when "walking" a customer with reservation. They then tried to put me in a room without a working AC. Not doing that in Georgia in May. Finally offered me a cot to sleep on. So ended up staying the first night on the cot and moved to a different hotel for the second night (just me as the rest of my family need to stay in that hotel for their group activity and they were able to sleep on the King bed). The hotel itself is good and clean. Didn't use their pool or breakfast. But staff needs to plan for guests arrival better and understand Hyatt corporate policy.
