The hotel was clean and staff was great

My ONLY issue was the breakfast. My guest and husband approached to get potatoes but there were very little left. Not enough for them each have a decent amount. The kitchen staff was standing there EATING potatoes. My guest asked if the woman could please get some more potatoes and was told there were no more. She then asked if more could be made but was told they stop cooking at a certain time. This is problematic! Why is the lady who is supposed to be working EATING potato’s made for the hotel guests??? Maybe there would have been more for the guest if she wasn’t eating them!!! Horrible customer service.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was the top tier.

I told the front desk there was a huge dead roach in my room and they told me they would tell maintenance, maintenance came and didn’t want to clean it up.. found out they had multiple dead bugs up under the couch.. I only moved the couch because there was a beetle flying around in my room , I tried to kill it an it fell behind the couch, when I moved the couch I found multiple dead bugs.. we slept with the lights on for two days straight. I couldn’t wait to leave.

I had a fantastic stay at Hyatt Place Columbus-North and would absolutely come back again. The hotel itself is clean, perfectly located, and very comfortable. My room was spacious with a great layout, including a cozy sitting area that made it easy to relax after a long day. The bed was super comfortable, and everything felt well-maintained. One of the highlights of my stay was the overall atmosphere and amenities. The complimentary breakfast had great variety each morning, and I appreciated having convenient dining options available throughout the day, especially at the lobby bar. What really made this stay stand out, though, was the exceptional staff; especially Courtney at the bar. She was absolutely amazing! Courtney provided outstanding service, made great drinks, and created such a welcoming, friendly vibe. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely elevates your entire experience, but she definitely did. Overall, between the comfortable rooms, great amenities, and standout service, this was a top-notch stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
