Rodeway Inn

The hotel recently sold and is undergoing renovations to a Rodeway inn. It needed a renovation for sure, but its all torn up and debris everywhere,

We were not aware until check in that Wyndham had sold the hotel and it was being renovated. Construction people, trash, etc

This hotel no longer existed and we had 15 people with no place to stay. They said they had sold it in June and it was June 28 I had just contacted them on May 26 to confirm.

When i went to check in on June 21st the front desk clerk informed me that this facility has closed. No email, no phone call, no text was sent to inform me of this prudent information . So I'm standing there with my grand daughter dumb founded. I had to scramble to get another room for 6 nights and i cannot get ahold of anyone to verify if i was charged and if so when and how can i get a refund. This was at the Webster NY hotel on Empire Blvd.

Nothing.

The property was sold in the last 3 weeks and we lost our reservation. We were never informed. We showed up and we had no place to stay.

When I arrived at 8:30 pm, I was told that my prepaid reservation would not be honored. I could not stay there. The hotel had been sold to a chain and was to be remodeled. I was never notified of their cancellation, and no hotel rooms were available within 50 miles of Rochester. After several hours of calls I found a room 60 miles east. A fiasco!

You must be kidding. You sold that hotel & I got no satisfaction Very bad

Shut down whole business. No notice. No alternative. Lousy surprise.

This Super 8 was sold around June 1 and goes by Webster Inn. They had no record of our reservation by hotels.com and we paid for a room. Facility undergoing renovations. Our room just passable. Requesting full refund from Hotels.com!

No breakfast. Mold everywhere in my room. Toilet seat broken. Bathtub very very slow to drain. Poison oak around back of building.
