Gorgeous view, friendly staff and a great restaurant.

Coffee shop is excellent overall my stay is great

The hotel is situated right by the water. The water view rooms are worth the extra money as they offer you an opportunity to sit on your balcony and listen to the waves crash onto the shore. All your senses are engaged and it is a very therapeutic experience. I found the design of the rooms very spacious, modern and just felt a really positive vibe. More of a minimalist decor so the focus was on the outside nature experience. The hotel restaurant halls large windows for great views and a good option of comfort food that was delicious. Staff was friendly with a focus on the hotel guests which was refreshing. You felt noticed and they catered to your needs. Looking forward to a summer hotel stay and hope I’m not priced out of the summer season rates for 2026. Highly recommended a visit to relax, engage in the out door activities that Parksville offers and treat yourself to a very special hospitality experience and the environment of the Bayside Resort. The front door opened and let in the winter cold as you stood by the lobby. It was a slow sliding glass door that stayed open too long during this time of year.
