Munising Motel

Self checkin/checkout was easy. It was chilly and took us a bit to figure out that the air conditioner was also the heat (FYI). The room was clean and provided a good night’s sleep. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. Centrally located in Munising.

Very walkable to the ‘downtown’ area of Munising! The motel was spotless and Nicole and the young Alabama man were friendly and helpful with information! Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed at the Munising Motel in Munising, Michigan on Friday night, we took the Picture Rocks Boat Cruise at 4pm. We stopped by the motel at 2pm and we were able to get in our room. It was an outside entrance with a door key lock. The room was basically 2 Double Beds, a bathroom with a stand up shower and toilet. The rooms are just to sleep in as you would be out doing other things in the community. The TV was different though, it was a Fire Stick and you couldn't get local channels. We watched YouTube mostly as we couldn't find regular tv channels, but that was about the only thing that was different. It, the motel was worth the money we paid for it, and close to everything to do up there.

Walkability to downtown. Room was good for the price.

Loved this little motel. Reminded me of the ones we stayed at when I was a child. Very neat, clean & conveniently located. No breakfast served but a few nice little cafes close by. Would definitely stay again.

The location is great to downtown shopping and dining - we never needed to take our car anywhere. The room was generally spacious but the beds were small.

This was a nice place to stay. We were out most of the time so we just needed a place to sleep and shower. It was clean and comfortable, we had no complaints. Best part about it is everything is in walking distance which was great. We would stay again.

Check in was super easy. But the whole stay we never saw anyone at the front desk. They were available via text though. Location was easy to get to grocery store, gas station and souvenir shop. Questionable weed smell inthe room. Was nit terrible but it was present.

Perfectly clean, great location, friendly staff. Would stay again. Only issue is they do not have cable TV. It’s all off a Foxfire stick so you need to have your own Netflix, Hulu, etc. account. There is however one free channel, you could probably find something. Had several issues with the TV remote but luckily somebody was there to switch out batteries and remotes etc.
