Staff were all excellent. Jose, Manuel, and especially Laura were superb--- friendly, helpful, and generous. We were in the 1 bedroom king suite with private rooftop oceanview patio, and found it to be well worth the price. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and very convenient to Avenida 5 and the beach. Of all the places we have stayed in Playa over the past 25 years, this is the best yet on every level.

The beach itself is highly eroded and the long beach walks we have always enjoyed are no longer possible. But of course, this has nothing to do with Acanto, but Playa itself and Riviera Maya in general.
