La Cala Resort

We absolutely thoroughly enjoyed the amazing food and service at El Patio last night ! Alberto and Maria were exceptional very kind attentive and made us feel so very welcome! Food was outstanding the atmosphere and setting was perfect . We will return and recommend to all our friends. See you Friday as just booked again ❤️❤️❤️

Went with a group of 16 … we also went last year, ok the golf courses are indeed quality, we stayed for a week and played golf 5 times. frustrating part is at least 5 of our party got items robbed from there bags whilst on the course which has slightly dampened our trip, more frustratingly staff were not interested in assisting, merely stating they have signs on the buggies to not leave valuables in your bag, for all of that they should be looking at modernising the golf carts with on board safes, we should be able to enjoy our round without the need to keep checking the bushes for thieves …. We were also booked to eat in there restaurant one evening which would have generated euro 1000 plus, we asked as a gesture of good will would they be willing to knock a percentage off the bill but they declined so we went elsewhere, so pros, great golf courses, great brekkie, not so good, shuttle required to driving range, poor security on course to look out for these thieving so and so’s So to wrap up, before you go playing golf, either lock everything away in the safe in room, or keep valuables on you….. because it will happen again…. Just make sure your not the next one ! Thx Chip Cobb

Das Hotel ist relativ klein, sehr geräumig ( wir hatten Glück mit einem tollen superior Zimmer) mit toller Ausicht auf die Hügel.

Another fantastic meal at La Terazza. Food was amazing- loved the Risotto and the fish skewer. Service was great as always. Special mention to Alberto who always makes our experience fabulous! Loved the entertainment too! Thank you. We will be back!

Stayed at La cala golf about ten + times and it never disappoints, although the courses were very wet due to the wet weather they had suffered we still found the golf good.loved all the changes they are making to the courses and will definitely be back in 2026

Our stay at La Cala was incredible from the outset. We have travelled to many golf resorts across Spain but have never experienced the welcome and kindness of each and every staff member from reception, waiters and the golf staff. Golf - The golf was brilliant, we particularly enjoyed Europa and Asia as low handicap golfers. Definitely get a buggy, lots of hills! Food - we dined in both La Bodega and La Terraza, we enjoyed both but preferred La Terraza. Breakfast was great with plenty of option and food in golf club also v good. The receptionists could not have been any more helpful in arranging everything including taxis to / from the resort. Would highly recommend as one of the best golf resorts in the region!

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by genuinely friendly helpful staff. This continued for the duration of our 5 day stay. The newly refurbished room we had was large with a wonderful terrace and great views. The breakfast offered plenty of choice. We ate in 3 night at the Clubhouse and were never short of choice. Again the staff at the Pro Shop and Clubhouse could not do enough for us. We were a group of eight golfers 4 women and 4 men and we all shared the same opinion and experiences hence why I have taken time out to write this review. Would i go back 100%.

We had dinner at La Bodega restaurant. This is their new steak house as they used to have Tapas there. I asked what steak was good and they promoted all steaks as premium quality. I chose the rib eye and it was like eating a piece of leather. The steak was chewy and I had a hard time cutting it with the steak knife that I was provided. There was a lot of silvering on the meat. I was very disappointed. The starter was excellent and the dessert was great. The service was good.
