It was in a decent location

Nothing like the pictures and it wasn't clean. The whole place needs a serious upgrade. Loads of stairs so if you have big bags you will really struggle. Especially to the top floor as they get very thin and steep

The rates are ok

The property has some serious accessibility issues. The stairs leading to the upper levels are extremely steep, making it difficult for anyone with mobility challenges. While the rooftop restaurant offers a lovely open-air setting with great views of the city, the climb to reach it is not ideal for all guests. My room was missing basic amenities—no soap or toilet paper upon arrival. The bed was unusually high, which made getting in and out quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the room experienced electrical problems during my stay, which meant I had to sleep without air conditioning—a major inconvenience given the climate.

Der Gastgeber Ali war immer sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns alle unsere Wünsche erfüllt. Das Hotel hat ein sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis und ich kann dieses Hotel jedem empfehlen der nach Stone Town kommt.

Very comfortable bed with duvet and air conditioning. The roof terrace is beautiful and has the same view as other more expensive places.
