متهالك جداً وغير نظيف المناشف كانت مقززة وايضاً مفرش السرير من الداخل كان واضح انه لم يغسل من مدة طويلة وكان بجانب السرير بعض الاسلاك المكشوفة

Walking into reception I was a little worried as it looked a bit dingey, the passage to our room also had a bit of a smell..BUT..the room itself was all we needed for our 1 night stay in Stone Town. And please - bear in mind - this hotel is priced very low so you have to manage your expectations. Having said that - this was the 4th place we stayed at in Zanzibar and yet - the MOST comfortable bed we slept in! This is also one of the only places that had a fridge in the room. The location suited us perfectly too. Ali was very helpful and we had a decent few hours sleep and a shower before heading to airport at 1:30 with the airport transfer he arranged for us with a very nice taxi driver.

The passage had a weird smell.

The room in general

We keep returning to this property because it is an amazing typical Stone town building. Tall and fascinating. We love the top of the building where you can sit and relax and see over the roof tops of the town and out to sea.

Some things could be renovated but then we love it as it is.
