TT Anjos Lisbon Rooms

I liked the location of the room, was very central, close to restaurants and the main tourist spots. Everything was around a kilometer away. Room was nice and pleasant, perfect to stay in and worth the money, the welcome wine and crackers was a nice touch!

I would recommend a blind or curtain for the window as it was abit bright at morning time. A TV would be a good addition as in the evenings we had to just use a laptop.

Location was ok

The staff and the cleanliness of the room (there was a condom on the floor). NO HEATING or AC = super cold. Staff was quite unfriendly. Quote-> “Do not mess with me, I am cleaning your room“

The property wasn’t clean. we stayed 5 days and they didn’t even empty the trash.

We got the Belem room towards the front of the property. It is the one shown in the booking.com listing photos. Going by discussions with the other lodgers in the property who had the upper rooms we definitely had the better room. The room was clean and comfortable enough, the bed was fine and we had our own enclosed bathroom and shower. The location of the property was ideally situated to get to the metro and down town sites. WiFi signal in the property was excellent. Arrival and departure correspondence sent to us was comprehensive.

Our shower room wasn't that clean and smelt a bit when running the shower. The other rooms only had access to their own bathroom and shower, this was located down steep stairs in the shared kitchen area. Looking at the shower room there, it was covered in mould around the base and ceiling. This was due to lack of proper cleaning, no extractor fan and lack of ventilation. At least the shower in our room wasn't as bad as that. The noise outside was constant for most of the night on the adjacent Rue de Anjos street. Cars, refuse collection vehicles, people going past during the very early hours was unbelievable, we've never had an experience like it. On the booking.com website, it is stated as having your own room, coffee maker and kitchen facilities. This is in fact not true. The kitchen / dining area is actually a shared space with the other room occupants. When we arrived, we initially thought we had entered someone else's property as there were shoes on the floor and foodstuff in the kitchen. The website should clarify the shared accommodation more clearly. The property is only accessible via a very steep double set of slippery stairs. Lack of sufficient quantities of crockery and cups, glasses, etc.

everything here is old, and you can here every single word from other rooms, celling is low, the toilet’s door kinda broke. everything is in minimum standards when u just here to sleep. and also u cannot left ur luggage here if u have a late flight
