The Courtyard

The location and the view of the river were great. We were close to everything in Bewdley. The staff were all friendly, and we had a lovely breakfast in The Courtyard

Not their fault, but the accommodation is next to a bar with a DJ, so it was a noisy Saturday night. Can't imagine it being a problem during the week

well - would have been nice to have breakfast in the morning, but wasn't available until 9.30, i think. Long after I had to leave.

Great location great food friendly staff

We stayed on the 27th Sept 2024. The best part about our visit: the tea tray in the room and a comfy bed. The staff seemed really nice in the restaurant/bar next door. The highlight is the location.

There is no mention of the stairs that were REALLY steep (some deeper than others) to get to our room, which was at the top of two flights. The room itself wasn't great. Broken toilet seat that couldn't be fixed by the time we arrived (but we were given a complimentary drink to apologise). I just feel this should have been picked up when the room was cleaned ... The sink in the bathroom is tiny .. only really good for washing your handsm it's not a bathroom sink so you can have a wash before bed. The shower head leaked everywhere. There was a wardrobe but nowhere to hang a wet jacket/coat. It wasn't clean .. lots of cobwebs on the ceiling and in the window corners. Something was squished on the ceiling but that wasn't cleaned off. There was one pillow each on the double bed - no extra pillows in the bottom of the wardrobe. The room was 'passable' I guess - but I wouldn't stay again and I do feel it's overcharged for what we got (paid £81).

No Wi-Fi, and not well prepared for new guests as there are dirty curtains that were dumped into the wardrobe!
