Kanko Ryokan Yamato

The property is beautiful, cared for by two wonderful, heart-warming ladies who are always gentle, attentive, and ready to welcome you with a genuine smile. The facilities are spotless and cozy. The onsen is private and completely tattoo friendly, you simply close the door and enjoy the bath all to yourself. Thoughtful toiletries are provided both in the bathing area and in your room, along with comfortable yukatas and even traditional socks for the evening. There is so much heart in this ryokan: in every detail, in every gesture, and in every smile, even in the little dog who greets you upon arrival. From your room, you can admire a lovely view of the city, surrounded by the peaceful mountain where the ryokan rests, and even enjoy the charming cable car ride that takes you up the hillside.

Vivimos una experiencia increíble: la casa es maravillosa, todos los detalles súper cuidados y el personal es muy agradable. El onsen privado es lo mejor de todo después de caminar y viajar en avión, nos sentó genial!

Si bien está un poco alejado, es un poco difícil llegar al lugar en transporte público y de noche.

Nous avons vécu une excellente expérience dans ce Ryokan perché sur les hauteurs de la Ville. L’accueil y est très chaleureux, le onsen apaisant permet de se relaxer apres une très longue journée, le petit déjeuner servi le matin également était très appréciable. Nous avons dormi d’un sommeil lourd jusqu’au petit matin dans les futon très confortables. Tout est fait pour que vous soyez à votre aise, dans une bulle hors du temps. En bref, une expérience très riche que nous garderons en tête longtemps !

Tout. Le personnel, l'ambiance, le petit déjeuner, l'accueil, le onsen, la vue sur la ville la nuit. C'est un endroit et un moment que je n'oublierai jamais. Merci encore pour tout.

The host, and owners were wonderful! Our room was nice with full views of Osaka. We were very comfortable in their very large home. I enjoyed the cable car- so funny! It felt like a retreat from a long day of touring Osaka. I recommend !

Could use a little bit of updating

The Japanese style room had an amazing view of the city of Ikoma. I loved the private bath. I loved that Hozanji temple was a short 10 minute walk from the Ryokan. I also enjoyed interacting with the owners, who were very kind, polite and very responsive to my needs.

Desayuno bien tipico, a tiempo, muy limpio, bien ubicado , cerca del templo, no ir con maletas grandes, ya que se debe subir y bajar cuestas y escaleras, el pesonal, super bien, todas las explicaciones y necesidades

Nous avons adoré le charme et le confort de cet établissement géré par deux dames extraordinaires de gentillesse et de finesse. Le lieu et ses environs sont sublimes. Excentré (nous voulions un logement de ce type) mais proche du funiculaire qui nous descend au métro.
