Absolutely fantastic stay at the Cassandra hotel. From the moment we walked into the lobby, we were impressed by the elegant decor and secure entrance, which immediately made us feel safe and at ease. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Also, the teams warm hospitality stood out, they were always ready to assist with a smile providing helpful recommendations in our travel to Vancouver, and ensuring we had everything we needed. Definitely a very good hotel and I would recommend you to stay here.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was wonderful. We were going to cancel reservations in order to be closer to the ferry terminal, but we like the staff so much that we decided just to keep our reservation here Handra helped us with directions wherever we needed to go.

The front desk staff who checked us in was very kind and helpful. She always care about us, ask if we feel good or need help. Make us feel very warm. Room also very clean and quiet, we sleep very well. This hotel really nice, we like it very much. Will come back next time!

Handra took such good care of us. She was really patient helping us with the Wi-Fi, the door lock, and showing us around. She even let me know when I forgot something. We're older, so we really appreciated her kindness. I love this hotel they’re doing a great job.

The staff at the Cassandra Hotel are very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and highly serviceable for trips to Vancouver. The picture of the hotel rooms and lobby are different from the website, so it was a bit of a shock that it seemed very shabby when I arrived and not what I expected. It is very dated and initially there is a sense it might not be clean. It is clean, but rundown. There isn't any staff on duty from 10:30 pm until 7am, so if you're late checking in, that could be tricky. Also, the check-in & checkout are all done through codes provided through messages. If your phone's low on battery or there's any issue with the codes, it is a very challenging situation. When I arrived, the code provided initially didn't work, so I needed staff to get the code synced properly. They were great about this and lovely to deal with. For a basic hotel that is inexpensive (for Vancouver) and covers basic needs well, this is your place. As a final note, the shower had amazing pressure and was a highlight.

I have now spent three separate visits at this hotel over the past 12 months, enough of a baseline to confidently say that this is one of the best hotel values in Vancouver. The Cassandra is undergoing renovations that don't intrude on the guest experience but promise meaningful upgrades. Meanwhile, its spacious rooms are fairly modest but impeccably clean, quiet, and comfortable. The front counter staff are warmhearted and very helpful. They can steer you to any of the very good Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indian restaurants that lie within easy walking distance. Being located on Kingsway, one of the major arteries of the city, there is easy access to city attractions whether travelling in your own vehicle or hopping on the bus just outside the hotel. It would be easy to spend twice as much to have half the good experience on offer here. Always grateful to Handra for a good visit.
