Courtyard Hartford Farmington

The bedding is superb and sooo comfy and the rooms are nicely decorated and relatively clean. The free water bottles in room are a nice touch. Also, it's nice to have a coffee maker and mini fridge in the room, as well as coffee and water in the lobby. I only gave the score of "4" instead of 5, as they do need to vacuum under the bed better...I dropped a bottle cap and when I went to retrieve it..I saw LARGE dust bunnies and many crumbs under the bed. :-/ AND I was having issues with my TV and remote that I reported as well. Just a funky remote, I'm sure..but I didn't get around to switching out as I was only there two days. I did let the front desk know on our way out about the dust bunnies, so hopefully they tended to this and the TV and then it would be back to 5 star review. The "STAR" of the Courtyard Hartford Farmington, CT is the front desk employee, Malachi! He deserves a raise and a promotion! He is welcoming, warm, friendly, helpful and accommodating! He made our trip from the West Coast to visit family/friends even better!

This is the place for wedding groups to stay! Shane from events was fabulous and super responsive. Malachi at the front desk welcomed our guests so warmly that my guests mentioned him by name. We were able to rent the meeting room for wedding preparations (such as hair and makeup) and the hotel threw in some special surprises. We hosted an after wedding gathering at the hotel and my guests (not me!) stayed up until 2am. The hotel is super clean and all employees on all floors were attentive and smiling. I had tried to book block rooms with other hotels in the area slightly closer to my wedding venue but they were not responsive and caused much anxiety as they promised but could not deliver. I wish I knew to skip the others and go directly here to Courtyard Hartford Farmington. They relieved all stress. 5 stars from us!

Staff went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. Rooms were big, bright, and clean. Food was good.

I was very happy with our stay at Courtyard Hartford Framgington. The person who checked us in at the front desk was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The room was very large, clean and modern. We also enjoyed a quick breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Service was excellent and appreciated. The area had a lot of food options and was very close to shopping. Great stay.

Jasmine is amazing. Bartender at bistro. I come and stay here at least once a month. I used to stay on Wolf rd but staff is just soooo nice here! They are very welcoming! Feel like I am home!

Our check in was absolutely unacceptable. We called at 9pm to let them know that we wouldn’t be arriving until around midnight because of our flight. We were reassured that would be no problem. We arrived at midnight to a lobby/ bar party from a wedding staying at the hotel. The only employee we ever saw was the bartender! She was great and extremely apologetic! She had to call a manager and another employee to be able to get us into a room as she didn’t know have access to the front desk computer system. She informed us the other employee had left and overnight employee was either not there yet or M.I.A. The front desk signs clearly acknowledged that they had multiple wedding parties and a baseball team staying, the lack of staff supplied by management was shameful.
