Skamania Lodge

The Skamania Lodge is the perfect place to recreate, recharge, and enjoy life. The Columbia River is a scenic backdrop for all the views from the restaurants and rooms to the outdoor seating area with Adirondack chairs. A large box of toys is provided for young children. The large lawn is a great place to play games and explore. The Lodge is close to many tourist locations as well as offering their own adventures, zip lines, golf, disc golf and many more. We will be back!

We had a great girls' weekend in the treehouses. I'd like to callout James at the front desk for being such a great tour guide and chauffeur around the facilities. Additionally, we'd like to give a shout out to Stan at Skamania Adventures; we had a great time learning ax throwing with him. Everyone we met was very warm, welcoming, and fun.

Skamania Lodge was wonderful. The environment is warm and welcoming, and the facilities are well kept. The surroundings are beautiful - I loved grabbing a coffee and reading my book in front of the large picture windows in the main lodge each morning. The room was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The wi-fi was lacking though, so be aware of that, and the in-room televisions do not have streaming options, so if you want to watch a moving and snuggle in front of the fire plan to bring a firestick or something similar, at least if you are there when it gets dark early. Surrounding hiking trails are beautiful.

Comfy rooms, excellent food, outstanding customer service especially by the wait staff. We enjoyed ourselves immensely - even though rained almost the whole time we were there, which really says something - and we can't wait to go back in sunny weather.

Beautiful location - can't be beat. Close to the shore of the Columbia River, in the pines, and in the gorge. We stayed in one of their Treehouse rooms. Fantastic room - especially romantic for couples, but larger ones accommodate families. Absolutely one of the prettiest places we've ever stayed.

Great facility and staff. Outstanding food and drink. Need higher toilets in non accessible rooms. Need to have accessible rooms with AARP rates. The food is exceptional in both the Cascade Room and River Rock lounge.

We stayed here one night and enjoyed it very much. The young man that checked us in was so personable and helpful. Our room had a fireplace and the bed and pillows were comfortable. There was plenty of parking available. They have a beautiful golf course and putting green. We ate at the bar restaurant and it was good. We rented e-bikes and rode the paths on property and to downtown Stevenson. The guy who set us up with the bikes was friendly and helpful. I can imagine that in the spring and summer this lodge is a popular destination.

I attended a restorative retreat at Skamania which was absolutely delightful. My stay was magical. The location, upkeep and cozy atmosphere made my stay enjoyable.
