Travelodge by Wyndham Traverse City MI

Staff greeted us well. They seemed busy.

Air/heater sounded like an airplane lading every time it came on

I had a relaxing couple of nights at the Traverse City Travelodge. I loved the location, which was a nice walk along a walking path from the public library, etc. Although the motel is on a fairly busy intersection, my room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. LaTanya at the front desk was kind and an excellent problem solver.

0 stars from me. My mother, my sisters and I stayed this weekend and we found rotten food in a broken microwave in one room and got locked out completely on our last day. The office was closed and empty and all keys were deactivated before checkout time. I was locked out of my room at about 8am and had to wait for someone to come at their convenience to let me back into a room that I still had 3 hrs to stay in. Im not the only one who was locked out. There was other patrons. And what if a baby had been locked in and had gotten injured because of your lack of responsibility 😕. Shame on the management for letting this happen

No breakfast. Check-in was 4:00 PM, we didn't get checked in until 4:30 because room service was short handed. First desk clerk I interacted with was short in her responses and not friendly. When I returned, the clerk on duty then was very nice and friendly and apologetic for the check-in delay. Location was good in the fact it was close to the airport. The room was a good value for the cost.

Delayed check-in, maybe the fact it was a rainy day slowed down the cleaning process.
