One bed was great, and the other felt like you were sinking into the middle

Not much. Bed was comfortable but visible dirt (grit...sand?) was on sheets

Tub drain was stopped w no way to pop up, noticed as tub filled showering. Front desk said maintenance would look at it the following day. We planned to leave early for Sleeping Bear and my 81 yo mother could not shower in full tub. We finally found a tool in the car and pried up ourselves. Terrible tv service, no networks...seemed to be all junk channels and sports. Curtain attached to soffit creating large gap on side of window allowing light to shine in, particularly when cars arrived/left at 3 amd 410 am. My 81 yo mother made the reservation and neotjer of us noticed it was for a 2nd fl room. She has foot drop and a leg brace, making stairs difficult. Agent did nothing to attempt to change us to a 1st fl room, only stated thats the room we booked so its the room we get. Both desk agents refused to assist with changing check out day, rudely stating it was made with third party and contact them, but booking.com said contact the property. Front desk agent was asleep on desk the morning I checked out..."I dont care when you leave, youve alreay paid for 5 nights and wont get a refund". I have since contacted booking.com, wyndham, my credit card to dispute entire stay, ky and mi dept of consuner affairs, and bbb. Hotel up amd down same main street, book there instead. I only booked with a national chain thinking greater flexibility to change if father's prodecure required us to leave early, will NEVER stay at a wyndham/ travelodge again based on this experience

Good location, comfortable room

We had to wait to check in at 5:30 when you could check in at 4:00. There was a dripping noise that you heard most the night. Heather would come on every 5 mins. Floor in rooms needed to be cleaned.

The floors were dirty, there's black mold in the showers as well as someone elses hair stuck on the towl rack in the shower in what im guessing is old soap. We found somebody else's sock left in the room. There was stuff stuck on to the falling apart furniture, and it didn't look like they cared much about the corners or little side walkways in the room because they were the dirtiest and often had cobwebs and spiders. The doors don't seal at the bottom either so if you stay during the winter place a towel on the floor and crank the heat The curtain for the window doesn't cover fully so you always fighting with it to close enough, and it also covers the heater so you heat in between the curtain and the window. The parking is atrocious when it's busy because the rows are narrow and the lines are painted very short so everyone's car is hanging out causing people to park further into the spot ahead of them. Staff was friendly enough and offered up a room the next day if it were available which it was not. Photos of the room look way better than the room does in person.
