Oatlands Park Hotel

The location was stunning. We were given an upgraded room.

The room i originally booked had a walk in shower which was important as my husband has a replacement hip, our upgraded room had a shower in the bath which did prove a little difficult. The housekeeping was not good at all - when our room was serviced mugs that had been used by us were left where we put them and not replaced, the same with a used glass which had been used was left on the bedside table and again not replaced. Breakfast was disappointing - the English buffet was cold, the eggs were poorly cooked and the choice wasnt amazing. The body wash ran out on the second morning so clearly was not refilled before our stay.

Nicely appointed room. Great shower/bathroom. Plenty of parking.

Think the beds could be bigger in the better rooms plus given the size of the room a sofa would be good

Food service was poor. The room was very hot and stuffy and air conditioning didn’t work . Poor communication from staff

Excellent value for money given the location Beautiful grounds with ample parking Rooms were clean and well appointed The breakfast offering was varied and of good quality Front desk staff always helpful

The resturaunt staff were not engaging except the maitre d' who was positively attentive and efficient

Lots of parking, nice lobby , bed comfortable. Nice size shower with good water pressure, quiet surroundings

Breakfast wasn’t great, staff were really slow to order tea/coffee. Didn’t offer any alternatives to the breakfast buffet. This really let the place down
