Shandaken Inn

Service, pool, room and breakfast were fantastic.

My husband and I had an excellent stay! Staff was great, bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast delicious!

We arrived and were greeted by a great guy and checked in quickly. The pool was really nice and although the restaurant was closed (Monday and Tuesday nights) they gave us good recommendations for nearby dining which was excellent. The Inn is very clean. Our room was very small but the linens and pillows were fabulous as well as the soaps, etc in the bathroom. The walls are thin though, we could hear people in the rooms next door and in the hallway. The staff was very friendly and the breakfasts were very good. Went for dinner on our last night which was burger night at the restaurant. Although tables were available the hostess didn’t want to seat us 20 minutes earlier than our reservation and the wait staff was a little slower than we expected. The food and drinks were fabulous though and made up for it. The s’mores availability was a nice touch for the outdoor fireplaces and all the other guests were very nice and enjoyed the atmosphere as well. Good stay in general, we had a nice time.

Beautiful and perfect, staff is great, best escape from civilization

Really nice property. The room was large we booked with a small couch on the side. The pool was nice and the complentry breakfast is a plus. Just wish the restaurant was open on Mondays and Tuesdays

The property was excellent, but the staff was exceptional! I highly recommend this property!

The place was warm, welcoming, cozy, clean, private, quiet and lovely. Upscale but affordable. I would recommend they have coffee available starting at 6am as there was no coffee in the rooms and the included, wonderful breakfast, started at 8am.

We loved everything about Shandaken Inn and hope to return again and again!
