Wildlife Safari House

It's the second time that we stayed with this wonderful family! We were passing through the area and decided to spend another night at this lovely homestay. As the first time, we really enjoyed the comfy beds, the great breakfast, the facilities and the warm and kind family.

in one room the quality of the bathroom was poor. There was no place to hang the clothes . Room was full of ants and the space between the bathroom door and wall allowed mosquitoes to come in. The drain was chocked . The mosquito net was stinking and so was the bed linen. When we informed the owner, he had the audacit;y; to say that no one complained about it . The latches on th;e main door and toilet did not work. He promised to get mosquito repellent , but did not turn up. There is no board to identify the property and he mostly he does not respond to calls.

Such a lovely family running this place. Everything was so easy, we stayed for one night to go to Udawalawe and they arranged everything, including our transfer to Ella after. Safari + Stay costs about £50. Breakfast was ready when we got back from safari and the pool is great for escaping the heat!

We had the most incredible stay at Wild Safari House. The staff here are the most friendly and kind people you will ever meet. They organised a Safari with us in Udawalawe. Our Safari driver was incredible, very safe and knowledgeable. The rooms and facilities were clean, delicious breakfast included and a beautiful pool to cool down from the heat. Highly recommend anyone visiting to stay here. Thank you 🤩

La piscina es agradable, el personal es atento y ponen facilidades. Además hablan inglés correctamente. La habitación es espaciosa y el baño limpio y lujoso. El desayuno vale MUCHO la pena.

Notre chambre etait au rez de chaussee, sans vue, propre, les draps etaient propres mais le matelas degoutant. La chambre était bruyante.

Logement très bien placé pour profiter du parc national d'Udawalawe. Les hôtes sont très accueillants (avec un petit verre de jus de pastèque à notre arrivée) et disponibles pour organiser le safari. La chambre est confortable avec tout le nécessaire (serviettes, draps, savon). Le petit déjeuner est copieux et excellent ! Il est également possible de profiter du repas du soir (tout aussi délicieux que le petit déjeuner). La piscine est idéale pour se rafraîchir après les fortes chaleurs de la journée.

Ce fut l’un des plus plaisant séjours de notre voyage au Sri Lanka. La famille nous a reçu avec gentillesse et générosité… la nourriture était délicieuse et généreuse. L’emplacement est idéal, tranquille mais a deux pas du centre ville. Le safari était a la hauteur de nos attentes. Le véhicule était tres confortable. Et la piscine un plus rafraîchissant.

Malheureusement, malgré les efforts des propriétaires la qualité de l’eau dans la piscine s’est détériorer. Nous sommes cependant persuadé qu’ils corrigeront la situation rapidement…
