Wharf Master's Inn

My husband found The Wharf Master’s Inn as he was looking for a spot midway on the Northern California coast for our 5 day stay. He hit gold with his choice! We had a large room with an ocean view, an environmentally friendly fireplace that actually warmed our room when needed, a shower & a jetted soaking tub. There were many places to sit and enjoy the grounds, some lawn games, and a hiking trail right off the property. The included continental breakfast offered fresh fruit, yogurt & croissants during the week with more hot entrees available for purchase on the weekends. Karen & Gina handled check in & guest requests with friendly, warm efficiency. We enjoyed eating the charcuterie board our first evening there as we didn’t want to venture out again for dinner. There were fun extras like the DVD collection (all TV’s had DVD players) & bath bombs available in the office. We had a wonderful stay and were sad to leave the Wharf Masters Inn.

The host was lovely, and her staff was great. The host made sure we were comfortable and offered a different room with an extra bed. The staff was friendly and asked if we needed anything! The weather was perfect, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. It's quiet and peaceful. Parking is a little tricky, but they work with you on it. Nice outdoor area with games and a selection of outdoor seating. Loved the room, clean and elegantly put together!

Shops are closed early in town and some 20 minutes out but, it's what you get if you want to get away from everything for peace and quiet.

The location was perfect!

Needed a little maintenance here and there. Our deck was awesome but we could have used some tall chairs to see over the railing when sitting out there.

Had a nice room with a partial view of the Pacific Ocean, and could see & hear the waves crashing on the rocky beach. Very relaxing and peaceful. Definitely will consider staying here again.

My husband and I enjoyed meeting Karen, the owner, when we checked in. She renovated the property and she did such a nice job, from the cozy rooms, to the landscaping and finally to the Continental Breakfast which included fresh fruit , bagels and cream cheese, biscotti for your coffee. When I’m in the area again, I’m staying here.

Karen and Cliff and Gina were very welcoming, kind, and set the tone for a relaxation, peaceful get away. Karen’s room service was prepared tastefully and thoughtfully. Cliff was everywhere around that property keeping the outside looking tranquil and friendly. Gina was very personal and accommodating. There is not much to do around the Point Arena area, but staying here, we weren’t in a hurry to do anything other than walk, listen to and watch nature, and enjoy the comforts of our lovely spacious room and patio. It was a perfect spot to just breathe and get away!
