"Heaven sent!"

My husband David and I were in need of a place that fed our souls with its peacefulness and nature's ambience. Our week's stay at the Wharf Master's met that need beyond our expectations! First and foremost, it was Cliff, Karen, and Gina that made the difference between a nice trip and a spectacular one (which is what we had!) with their genuine graciousness, helpfulness, and desire to please. Even the groundskeeper and the housekeepers added joy to our stay with their smiles and daily greetings. The accommodations were second to none and our view was exceptional. Though we reluctantly left, we were rested, well-fed, ( physically, mentally, and spiritually), and knew we had a new extended family in Pt. Arena!

Room furnishing standard and cleanliness was superb. Free continental breakfast was an unexpected benefit.

Needed mains sockets that were accessible. Lamps with 2x inbuilt USB sockets are fine, but my wife needed her two (watch and iphone) while I needed 4 (watch, iphone, iPad, MacBook Pro). I have my own power block, but the wall sockets were behind the bed, not easily accessible.

"Relaxing Oasis"

Stopped here for one night on drive from San Francisco to the Redwoods. Our only regret is that we didn't stay MORE nights! Our room was perfect for 3 of us, plenty of space, outlets, lighting, decor was nice. Loved the wineglasses, ice bucket and corkscrew. Beds were comfy and we appreciated the soft extra blanket and the fireplace heater. The views from our room and shared deck area were spectacular. The patio with flowers, a turtle, fountains, etc was serene as well. Staff was friendly, breakfast area was nice. Loved having a choice of wines right in the lobby as well. Even a selection of (many) DVDs' to watch movies in your room. Will definitely stay again if we get back to the area.

This is a unique location, being right in a cove. The ambience is so authentic with the fishing wharf nearby. The lodging itself was well-built and very comfortable.

Was für ein wunderbarer liebevoll gestalteter Ort!

WLAN war leider kaum nutzbar. Selbst als am Vormittag schon viele Gäste / Nutzer abgereist waren. Sollte verbessert werden.
