Very welcoming entering the reception area, beautiful fragrance of fresh flowers and candles and very friendly hosts. The property was older but refreshed and very clean and comfortable. Onsite restaurant/wine bar (check with staff for menu as different to online) the food was lovely and the environment cozy.

Nothing negative but could do with a couple of bowls, plates and cutlery in the room as there was a toaster but unable to prepare or eat from. If you are older maybe check with the property what bathroom you have , we had a shower in the bath which was unexpected so a little tricky getting in and out however my parents had a different room with a walk in shower even though I booked the same type of room for both on bookings.com

The room was spacious and very well equipped with a comfy bed and lots of hot water. The heating was almost too efficient. There was plenty of parking and very friendly and obliging reception staff. In spite of its proximity to the highway, the room was quiet.

The breakfast was a bit limited for the cost.
