Hotel Teanehi

The owner of the hotel allowed us to do the late check out so that we can stay in room or even walk out to do more sightseeing until she came to send us to airport in the afternoon.

Wonderful hotel. Really enjoyed. Communication is A . Bring water as no bottled drinking water is available at the hotel.

The hotel picked me up and brough me back to the airport for free. The room is clean and big. The breakfast is delicious. The hotel owner were very helpful and gave me the directions to the sightseeing point and restaurants area around the hotel. It is a 20 minutes walk to the beach and restaurant area but it is OK for me.

Owner is very nice and she will pick you up and drop you off and helping you to find guide and rental car. She said a very helpful

The balcony view is nice. Breakfast was great! I would say that if you enjoy walking, this is the stay for you. It’s about a 20 minute from the Downtown area so if you don’t rent a car, you’re either walking or using a bike

The “hotel” is a house with few amenities. Despite the listing, it does not offer a restaurant. The staff, while very pleasant, are unable to communicate beyond very basic English (Hello, check-out, etc.) should you not speak fluent Spanish. It is quite far from Hanga Roa, and the walk at night, via muddy roads, is fairly dangerous with speeding motorists passing constantly. (At night, the nearby park, which is the easiest route to access the island’s dining and shopping area, closes and one must take a very circuitous route through dark back roads to transit back and forth. If you are able to rent a car or motorbike, this is a non-issue.) Should you choose to stay here, I recommend that you not bring ANY food with you. It really can’t be helped, but there are some bugs. With that being said, this accommodation is cheaper than places closer to the sites, and it is a clear step up from hostels and camp sites. The cleaning staff does a great job keeping the house tidy. Transfer to and from the airport was very well-managed.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent.It was and easy walk to the local resturants.

This property is very basic. We were lucky enough to get an upstairs room with a shared balcony. Once checked in you’re pretty much on your own. Make sure you stop at a supermarket on the way to the property as no food aside from breakfast is available onsite. The place is not really easy or quick walking distance from the main centre either and taxis are not readily available. The owner Odette was lovely and the booking includes pick up and drop off at the airport.

A nice hotel, our of the way but a walkable distance from downtown. The people were very friendly and helpful and helped us plan our trip beyond the hotel stay.

Staff was very helpful. They were waiting for us by the time we arrived at the airport. Breakfast was great
