The room was comfortable and clean. The shower was good and the breakfast was very nice.

If the pub served food at night. I have to go elsewhere but it’s not a big issue

The location was great, and the hotel is a lovely, historic building that has clearly had a lot of money spent on it. The breakfast staff were really efficient and friendly, with the actual breakfast being extremely good! Car parking was easy, and the bar (not in the same building) was quirky, busy and efficient.

The phone number advertised on the hotels website, booking.com and Google was unobtainable. I sent an email with a question, but received no reply. But worse than this, the level of cleanliness in our room (101) was appalling. Thick dust on all surfaces, and it looked like a vacuum cleaner hasn't been anywhere near the skirting board in a long time. The bathroom floor was really bad, and the shower doors were thick with filth. Our friends were in room 102, which was not as bad as ours. It was a shame our room was so dirty, as the breakfast and staff were so nice!

the remote for the TV didnt work, I assumed the batteries were flat. The room we were in was not in a good postion. it was very very noisy from the vault bar with customers right out side our room The noise went onto 12 30 and sometimes the noise sounded like they were all in our room. No TV and very noisy not good
