Lively pub, great location and very welcoming period hotel property. Decent breakfast and great staff in pub and hotel.

The mattresses appeared to be new, but quite hard. Lovely sash windows but needed better cleaning.

Convenient location for the area that I was working and everything within walking distance in the evening for meals etc.

Check in could be improved as the staff weren't very familiar with the check in process.
