Functional accommodation and practical if you don’t intend to spend much time here. Central location, easy self check-in. Garage handy if you need it. Interior courtyard has a nice moss wall design.

Over-polished photos. Apartment interior quite dull and simple. Cleaning standards not great, floor was sticky. Bathroom clean enough but not sparkling and increasing smell of drainage and humidity/ moldy smell during stay. No views.

Kitchen is made for short people

No communication with host. Tried to contact them through hotels.com but just got a virtual service. The bathroom floor was gross still stains around the toilet.

The apartment is spacious, well equipped with a kitchen, good lighting, a terrace and a garage inside the villa. The villa is located close to the historical centre of the town.

Very clean and beautiful with all the facilities that we need! Perfect location and very easy self check in! Very recommended!

Villa Esmeralda was an excellent base for us in Ponta Delgada. We booked it specifically for the kitchen so we could make our own breakfast every day, and the included parking (this is so handy in Ponta Delgada, where street parking can be very hard to find!). Checking in using a code or phone app was easy, and the apartment was really spacious and nice for our stay.

The bed was a little hard for us, but that's obviously personal preference. The kitchen could have done with a few essentials like salt, pepper, and paper towels provided, but that's really minor!

Easy self checkin with code. We had to find a last-minute accommodation due to a flight cancellation and it was very much appreciated how easy it was - from booking to check-in only a few minutes. The appartment is a mix of holiday home and hotel room. Ideal for a city trip for 1-2 nights.
