Motel Sun Inn

Room with key was clean. 2 queen beds . One had springs (shot). No ads no conditioner, no HBO, no guide, no lightbulbs in 2 lamps, headboard fell off wall, no breakfast, a/c was cold and damp or musty. My stay was 4 nights during summer heat wave. Lawnmower had parking near front doors.. smell of spices everywhere but room.

I registered for a stay that Saturday but the clerk told me I did not have a reservation for that evening. Probably an error on my part but did not hear anything resolved on what happened.

I didn't like practically almost everything about it the only thing nice about it it's what the building looks like outside otherwise everything inside a terrible just terrible

It was sooo smelly like mold or a ash tray and they made me pay up front which was weird to begin with. The bed room smell and damp like the entrance but worse someone had been running the shower because the tub was wet , the sheets (i took pictures) were sooo wrinkled and limp i did not sleep on them so gross i slept on the bed spread. terrible!! I feel so ripped off on this one, ive never had a problem using travelocity for so many years this is a first.

Well... they had NO idea that i booked through hotels.com. didn't want a confirmation #, charged me like 4 bucks more than through hotels.com (no big deal) but could not have cared less about who i booked through.... cool king sized bed though... wife loved that! Also booked a smoking room...no go... $50 cleaning fee for smoking in the room so we stepped out onto our "balcony" as instructed by the manager... "balcony" being a patio door to the front yard.

Definitely a value for the money. Right on a major road at the state line - easy to find. Towels were average but only one hand towel. Shower pressure was average. Pillows were superb! I do wish there was a small coffee maker in the room. The second morning - Monday we were ready for coffee at 6 am but none was in the lobby until about 7:05 am. The continental breakfast was all carbs - not good for us older folks watching sugar. But all in all this was a very satisfactory stay!

The property is disgusting. Very dirty, broken windows, junk laying around outside.

Room was clean and AC worked great. Close to some stores and bike paths. Lake MI is close as well.

made my reservation and when i got to the hotel they tried upselling me and when i refused to pay they said sorry i can help you and still charged my card and i never stayed at the hotel... never again truly hope they go out of business...

It was heavenly 😇
