Motel Sun Inn

Owner WAS NOT friendly at all. Outside entrance was dirty, potted plants and potted vegetables scattered around, strange appearance for a hotel. Breakfast was a joke. Common area and breakfast area was very dark with no lights around to even turn on. Given a 2nd floor room when we had a dog with us. (Not smart) No elevator, jetted tub did not work at all, even the faucet in tub would not turn water on. Room was clean, but smelled bad, the entire hotel smelled bad. Wont stay there again. WAY over priced !

The beds were comfortable, rooms were clean enough. However, you had to “slam” the door shut. I don’t like disturbing others, and I was afraid a) being locked out of room or b) being stuck in room The A/C heating unit sounded like it was going to burst into flames at any given time. Oh, don’t plug up the toilet. Instead of a) unplugging the toilet themselves or b) moving you into another room...no they’ll give you the location of the plunger and expect you to retrieve the plunger and unplug the toilet yourself. This happened just as soon as I got into the room. The ice machines and vending machines were down.

Lady at the front desk didn't know how to use the credit card machine, my card kept getting declined because she didn’t put the chip in the reader. I was traveling with my boat, parked where she told me to park it, a couple hours later someone else from the front desk called and asked me to move it. AC didn’t really cool down the room. Breakfast consisted of coffee, 2 kinds of cereal, or small individually wrapped chocolate donuts. Wifi very spotty. On the plus side, room was clean and comfortable, minus the AC, towels were soft, place was quiet at night. Was worth the price

Clean, working TV. Internet slow IF it works, fridge not working well, no shampoo/conditioner, only one hand towel. Find it overpriced for what it offers.

The service was horrible. The man at the front desk was very rude and charged us an extra 10$ when we checked in for no reason. DO NOT stay here.

rooms had recently been updated but breakfast was disappointing to say the least . . . it would have been better to not advertise breakfast that the minimal amount that was available.

I use Expedia to get which hotels have wi-if since I have work to do while I travel. This hotel’s wi-fi was technically operational, but there were four or five non-password protected networks that would turn on or off randomly. Some wouldn’t work when I first started, so I’d move onto the next one which may or may not have worked. But if I found a network that would work, with no instructions or help from the main office, it would crash at random intervals, so I’d have to search for another once, which would sometimes be one of the networks that previously hadn’t worked. I wish Expedia had ranked levels of WiFi or something so that cheapo motels couldn’t pretend they have fully functioning services when they don’t. I would’ve picked another place if I had understood the WiFi situation. I didn’t accomplish the work I needed to while I stayed here.
