We were visiting the Dunes but wanted a quiet and safe place to stay. The hotel is located incredibly close to Valparaiso University and also to Highway 30. Short drive to a lot of local dining downtown. We found it to be a great place to stay.

"The photos don't show true size. I was disappointed about the suit."

The woman who checked me in was amazing. She was polite and very friendly. Helped me with my questions and even had a great chat when we checked in.

The false advertising with the size. I purchased the king suit for the living room space.. and it was tiny and not anything like the photos. Couch smelled to the point that we couldn't use it.... but it was already super late by the time we figured the smell out so we just avoided it

"Good option for downtown Valparaiso"

The location is convenient to Valparaiso University and other downtown attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable. And the staff is warm and welcoming. It compares very favorably to other downtown Valparaiso hotels that I have stayed in.

Most of the staff were excellent. Clean and confortable. Deeana Manual was very eager to help and seek solutions to my request. My only issue was with the manager Richard Rainey. He was not too eager to help or suggest alternatives to my issues and request. I never felt confortable asking him for anything. But in general I would recommend your hotel to friends and family.
