Sun Valley Resort

We were at the Sun Valley Inn which was great! There are 2 parts to it, the one next to the swimming pool/gym had a disinfectant smell to it - luckily we were in the other part which was perfectly fine.

Very nice and quite.

Did not have breakfast; dinner was excellent on the patio.

All very good. No exceptions.

Great place. Quiet, relaxing.

beautiful spot. For close to $300 a night, the bedroom was too small. Bathroom was fabulous.

A true “class” resort! Wonderfully spacious roo, with lovely western decor. Had a great dinner in the Lodge—such a beautiful place!

We showed up to the lodge area because that was the address listed. Upon getting out of the vehicle the two men looked at us and asked if we were in the right place. They had a little paper list and asked our name, they said ohhh you’re in the “inn” like we were dirt. They told us it’s a couple roads down. We went to the inn and the check in guy was a totally rude. Again treated us like trash. I asked a few questions about the restaurant and pool times, he replied rudely. We went to our room which was nice enough. Then back to the lodge for dinner. Dinner at Gretchen’s was great! Michael the server was the first normal and nice human we interacted with. Then my son asked if we could do ice skating so we go out and ask the concierge at the lodge who says she doesn’t do that and doesn’t know the price and gives us wrong directions to the skating area. We eventually find it and it’s too late and no one is there to get skates etc. The next morning at checkout we did finally have a nice lady concierge at the inn. It’s clear they get lots of rich customers and that’s who they prefer over the average customers like us who had been road tripping and hiking which is why we came here. Lesson learned, never again despite the cute town. I don’t enjoy spending my hard earned money to be looked down on.
