Renaissance Suzhou Hotel

Room was dusty, especially the shelf in the night stand. Gave us allergies. Also, the bath mat had mildew; it should have been cleaned or a new one is needed.

Discriminating service ? Other patron was smoking eCig repeatedly in the lobby bar was not so my friend and I lit up … guess what ? WE WERE ASKED TO STOP … legally I don’t think it’s okay to smoke indoor anywhere in China… maybe becoz another patron is a regular ? Or big spender ? Or worse … customer discrimination ? Local vs tourist ?

As a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador, I spent more than 120 nights staying at different hotels and Suzhou Renaissance Hotel is the only one hotel so far I ask the hotel manager to send me the link to post a positive review. The great experience starts before I step out the car, the doormen greets us warmly then offered help to our luggages. They lead us to the lobby and long the way, all the staff greeted us with a smile. I didn’t tell the doorman I wanted to check in at the lounge, so he didn’t bring me up but I m happy with the front desk. Very polite and friendly. The whole check in process is quick and smooth. We check in for three rooms, my room upgraded to a suite and the front desk even asked whether I need my PA room to be on the same floor with mine. Can see the font desk has passion when serving clients and try to cater for clients’ best interest. On top of that, every time we meet a staff at lobby, they always greet us with big smile and I can see that they enjoy working at this hotel. Good management team. The hotel suite room is well maintained and clean, up to the standard for the price paid. The normal room is also spacious and clean. The hotel Breakfast comes with huge variety and the noodles station offers hot and tasty Suzhou noodles. I will definitely stay at this hotel for my next visit and I will recommend it to my friends and business associates. Keep up the great work.

Ya he ido 4 veces en los últimos años y no cambio. Ya está todo dicho. Hotel excelente, lo mejor la atención en la entrada al hotel, en el lobby y en recepción.

The service is excellent.

We stayed for 2 nights at this property in November 2024. The staffs were attentive and friendly and we were surprised with a small birthday present for my mother during check out. The room that was assigned to us was well maintained. Housekeeping team was friendly and greeted guests at all times. Buffet breakfast had a good spread. The taste and quality exceeded expectations. The hotel is conveniently located with nearby eateries and malls. Gate of the Orient and Jinji Lake are within vicinity of the hotel.

Thank you very much for Levi's detailed and patient explanation today. I gained a lot of information along the way. If I have the opportunity to stay here next time, I will definitely take the Renaissance bus again. I have traveled both routes and hope that new routes will be opened.
