Baymont by Wyndham Kansas City KU Medical Center

I don't know if the breakfast was really picked over when we got there at 8:40 but there was very little there. What was there was not very appetizing, which was disappointing because it is part of what we paid for. We didn't waste our calories on what was there....but went and spent money on breakfast at a local restaurant.

First impression was the front door into the lobby. The door didnt fit the door frame and didn't even close. Not a great since of comfort and security.

The girl working the evening was a caring , empathetic help to a terrible stay at this hotel.

Dirty bathroom with feces dried on the toilet, hair clumps everywhere, ice machines all broken, phone broken, queen size bed ... advertised and sold as a king, door by handicap parking didn't work( tm handicapped and had to walk and carry everything through the whole hotel) Smoking room that wasn't supposed to be( I have respiratory illnesses and can not breathe that in ) noisy inconsiderate guests above us. Morning girl didn't want to help or call a manager. Manager never came in to address the issues. Police were called for noise ordinance after 10. We paid for a second night and the girl on duty in the morning would not/ could not refund any of our money even though we were not going to stay the next night and checked out before 11. They are still holding $350 that was supposed to be refunded and have not received any response from the manager.
