Room was disgusting words can not express how horrible our room was. Please people reading this review don’t DON’T stay here

The kind of place I like. With antiques and lots of wood Only the breakfast should start earlier. I look for my coffe by 7AM. They didnt start until 830

This is an old property that dates from 1790, even though the actual house was built 100 years afterwards. It has the charm of an old building that may transport guests to other times. The house needs maintenance in order to restore the property to its former glory.

Stayed there for 3 nights to be close to local hospital. Staff was kind and brought us a fridge and moved us to larger room. Dinner from restaurant was excellent. Continental breakfast was included and had nice choices. Pretty sunrise from our room.

We checked at 5:30pm fora 7:00pm dinner reservation with family. The staff was professional and courteous. They advised us continental breakfast was included the next morning. When we went down in the morning not a person was to be found. The room where the breakfast was supposedly served was locked. The people above us were very noisy waking us up at 1:00am. The sink was loose and the smoke detector flashed all night. Floors squeaked and TV would shut off after so many minutes of watching and have to reboot. Not a very pleasant experience but the food in the restaurant was excellent!!

Property is beautiful and quaint and their on site restaurant is exceptional. Our inn room was unheated on a cold and damp day and when we reported this to the management, they did not apologize for the inconvenience.

We suggest that you read the reviews before you stay here. Unfortunately it is just too noisy and the management is extremely unapologeric and impolite. This, even after we asked, when making our reservation, for a quiet room. This business makes it's money from its restaurant and it should not offer accommodations which are below par because of the noise.
