Traveler's Lodge

Walkable touristy area only justification for staying here. Overpriced and rundown, totally unacceptable but for the small town and proximity to Yellowstone National Park. The motel wouldn’t survive anywhere else.

No mini fridge, i was traveling with my insulin for diabetes. They were nice enough to put my ice packs in there freezer but i had to keep my insulin a plastic bag in a water bottle full of ice water for each night. The pillows and bed were horrible(flat, and old nox spring mattress with huhe indentation) I asked for and extra pillow and they had none. The front desk said they had no extras. The shower was and towels were clean but the shower had almost no water pressure and at one point we had to flus the toilet to start the shower. So plumming was funky.

Good stay at west Yellowstone, comfortable with basic amenities. Close to shops and restaurants.

AC is broken, floor not so clean, not sure how easy to claim this from Expedia

Neither bed was fit to sleep in. One groaned and squawked, the other sagged and tilted. Front desk staff was unhelpful and unconcerned. Hairdryer switch was inoperable and had to be unplugged to make it stop. Shower water temperature could not be controlled easily.

location great. downtown & close to shops & restaurants. Bed comfortable & TV worked with variety of channels. Bathroom OK clean, but stray black hairs around tub & floor.

It's okay. Convenient to Yellowstone.

We had a good stay. Good hotel for exploring Yellowstone and convenient with parking right outside the rooms. Would stay again.

Fantastic staff and maintenance. We had a toilet clog and they fixed it no problem. Nice place for the price. Has all the basic things. Just no microwave or fridge, which we wish they did have. They have an ice machine by the rooms. Parking right near too.

The room was really big and comfortable. My kids loved the log swing in front. Its in an absolutely awesome location. The property is a little older and honestly I dug that more than hated that, ie real keys instead of room key cards with annoying ads on them. ... Old school ... easy. I dug it.
