The gorgeous Creole-style architecture and decor, the perfect service, the amazing food (still thinking about that baklava-inspired tart from Annabella's), the heated pool that the kids spent all day in, the kiosque gourmand where you can get crepes or home-made, delicious ice cream for the kids mid-afternoon, the hammocks strung between palm trees throughout the property... honestly it was a perfect stay.

- Food quality is average and below what we would have expected from the property, some dishes not good at all , especially for the price - Weird. evening formal dress code for men that no one follows (I don’t believe you should expect guests to have to wear shoes to go and dine at a restaurant where stray cats jump on your lap 😆)

Breakfast choices were very good, especially the Most delicious cream rice (thank you Pamela). The fresh fruit in both choice and quality was good and freshly squeezed fruit juices were delicious. The staff were very efficient and genuinely go out of their way to serve their guests well. The resort is set in beautiful, well maintained tropical gardens, with stunning views over the pool out to the ocean. There are many choices for activities, on the water, golfing, or treat yourself to what the spa offers. We loved the resort and the upgrade we received with our room, to a Junior Suite, a spacious suite with a four poster bed, sitting area, outdoor bathroom and plenty of storage for our luggage. We loved our stay at Telfair, for many reasons, but the staff are what make the place so special. They are wonderful people who serve so well. It was our second visit there and it was great to reconnect with staff that we had met the first time, including Pamela and Noor.

The price of dinner was way too expensive, especially in comparison to what local restaurants charge.
