Victoria Cloisters Apartments

Beautiful, functional little unit.

Fan didn’t work properly, and as temperature was quite warm, it was uncomfortably hot.

Property was excellent all around. Very convenient to the train station and just right over the bridge into the town. The street was quiet and safe, and the apartment was nice and spacious. Check in staff were super helpful and the apartment was very clean and tidy. Would absolutely stay here again or recommend it to anyone travelling to York

Very friendly staff at the front desk of hotel when collecting keys. Place was very clean and cleaning staff were very polite and friendly on departure. Ideal place to visit York. Just walk over the bridge and everything is there.

Location was great. Beds were comfortable.

Needed some attention to the flooring as the laminate moved a lot and left gaps which could quite easily hurt someone in bare feet or be a trip hazard. Lack of basic utensils. Extremely hot as windows don’t open much. Only about 2inches. Not easy to park if you have a family car.

I love the location and parking facilities, the apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed for our stay, plenty of storage space and wardrobe space.

There were cobwebs left around the apartment and after walking around barefoot our feet were dirty which isnt great so dont think it had been cleaned very well, also when running rhe bath/shower the kitchen tap would turn itself on and start leaking water and as very loud noise would be coming from the boiler, beds were like sleeping on the ground the mattress was so hard.

Excellent location, great set up. As it was unusually hot, it would have been nice to have a/c. Be sure to stock up on toilet paper when you check in as check in for apartment is in a different hotel down the street and around the corner.
