amazing place with an awesome view. owners are great. they leave you be and are happy to help if you need something. I proposed with the sunset over the lake and it was perfect. couldn't have asked for a better experience

Loved the location and view, just as pictured.

The breakfasts for the 2 days we stayed were excellent. Fruit, yogurt, croissant and a 5 star main egg coarse with was different each day, inventive and tasty. We took advantage of the offer of having dinner prepared for us one evening. A superb 4 coarse meal! The second evening we requested 2 pizzas, one was made with fresh vegetable as well as pepperoni and the other was a combination of salmon and spiralized zucchini - both delicious.

That we only stayed 2 days!

Christine and Stephen are a very kind, caring and accommodating couple. They made us very welcome at their beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The breakfasts were delicious, made all the better by sitting in the conservatory and looking out at the amazing view of Lake Taupo. Thank you both.
