Just lobby is clean and new

Very noisy, during the night I woke up at least 15 times, walls are too thin and upstairs doors are heavy, not only me, but also all of our family members woke up because of the noise. Carpets are terrible dirty in rooms, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and soap is the worst quality in the world.

Service was excellent. Food was good and varied

The beds were too high for me I had to launch myself on to the bed. And being elders it would be nice if there was a stuffed chair in the room

Location close to channel islands ferry

Not enough area to charge phones and camera batteries. Couldn't figure out the air cooling system

It's a good location, In-N-Out is within walking distance, along with gas stations, and other amenities.

Breakfast was enjoyable and flavorful. The available items are decent, but there's room for improvement. Adding orange juice and more breakfast options would enhance the meal.

I would never stay at this hotel again. If you are going to book here, please make sure to read this review before you do because you will regret it! Especially if you have kids. The hotel room smelled like mildew and urine due to the carpet. Unbearable! We requested a new room and once we arrived to the new room, they sprayed an entire can of air freshener right before we walked in to offset the smell of the carpets. After the air freshener smell dissipated, the second room smelled worse than the first! There are 15-20 cable channels with a guide that you cannot control. It's on channel 2 and you have to sit there and wait for it to go through the list of channels, most of which are unavailable. You cannot scroll up or down. I have never seen cable so bad at a hotel chain before. You book at Comfort Inn in Ventura after reading this review, then you deserve what you get!
