Homewood Suites by Hilton Wallingford-Meriden

I’ve been coming to this hotel many years. I am so comfortable. It feels like home away from home.

I went for my anniversary and was definitely disappointed. The room smelled sooo stuffy we had to open the windows to get the old smell out. Everything in the room was OLD the sofa was worn out, bed hard like rock, and the rolling chairs handle was ripped up. We didn’t complain because it was only one night. But this hotel needs serious upgrading.

The hotel is clean and well cared for. Staff was very kind. The room is great for an extended stay. Large enough with full mini kitchen and desk, etc. Not giving it full 5 stars is two fold. The mattress stunk...creaky and hard (if replaced room would be great) and we could hear everyone walking above us the whole time we were there. A room on the top floor, coupled with new mattress would have me stating that this was an excellent stay for the money. Last - be prepared that you're near NOTHING but its not a far drive to restaurants and shopping.

The hotel was clean as was the room. Breakfast worker are very friendly and ready to help outdoor patio with BBQ grills and tables and chairs was an added bonus we enjoyed the upgraded room and it was clean and well stocked.

Great breakfast with various choices. Employees were friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable rooms.

I've swimed in the sweeming pool, that was clean and good experience.

You could consider slightly enriching the variety of the breakfast, although the meal was fine.

Clean and well kept.

Everything was fine.
