Everything perfect!

Great layover on our way to NYC. Studio King room was huge with 2 rooms and 2 TV’s that we could stream our favorite shows. Very well appointed and clean. Bed was comfortable.

Parking: Free and plentiful spots Reception: Kind and efficient. No one take your luggages, but there is a cart if you need Room: Very spacious with full kitchen and living room. (Balcony is really not needed most days of the year because it's cold out). Carpet is dated but clean, bathroom is sparkling clean. The mattress and pillows are acceptable but I had issues sleeping (maybe it's just me). My room was next to the basketball court, so in times, you may get woken up with a bounce or two in the morning) Swimming Pool: Nice, small, but perfect for kids, teens and leisure water splashing (cannot swim labs) Gym: Small but sufficient, you have all the equipment needed for a standard workout Breakfast: Fantastic!! (all other neighboring hotels charge you per item) Free coffee and tea all day at the reception, plus coffee and a full kitchen in your room Service: I really like it that I didn't see anyone except for the receptionist and other guests. I like the subtle service behind the scene. Overall: I had a good stay. (Bed quality was a issue for me, mattress is comfortable, but I just couldn't sleep all 5 nights)

My review is mixed for this Home2 Suites. Let's start with the positives, because the hotel itself is lovely. The property is modern, and, most importantly, very clean. It feels nice and homey. I was very impressed with the decor and the overall maintenance of the facility. The only thing we noticed was the toilet paper holder was lose from the wall. When we pulled the toilet paper the holder came loose from the wall. Our experience at the complimentary breakfast on Sunday morning was severely disappointing. The issue centered around the waffle makers. Both machines lacked non-stick spray, and every single guest was struggling to pry their ruined, stuck waffles out of the irons. We noticed a can of waffle Pam spray behind the counter. When we politely asked a staff member if we could use it, she outright refused, stating "no, because we use it for something else." We tried to explain that all the guests were having a difficult time, but she was unmoved and unhelpful. This is a profound failure in customer service. To withhold a simple solution that would drastically improve the guest experience is illogical and unkind. While the hotel's physical attributes are excellent, this interaction with the breakfast staff left a very sour taste and is a major area needing improvement. It was just a simple solution that would have made the guest’s experience better.

Perfect overnight stay. Easy check in. Free parking. Quiet. Room was spotless. Free breakfast. Would def recommend!
