ZAThe facilities were great, the location was amazing as it was peaceful and serene.

ZATents are comfortable, kitchen well equipped, just bring your own wisk for eggs. Location pretty with views of the dam, fishing was great. Hot tubs take a day to get to right temp for winter but we'll maintained by staff. Restaurant food was nice. Game drive options from Hoedspruit africamps are expensive, but we did a self drive from camp to orpen gate, 45 min easy drive, lovely day in the kruger.
Tents are situated too close together, they have a no noise no music policy but not adhered to. What we thought was going to be a bush retreat was more like a rough camping experience at a local dam. Noise levels started at 6am with kids screaming, parents screaming at their kids, music playing. We had a constant doof doof music vibe. Complaints ignored by staff. Kids left to own devices fishing so hooks and lines stuck in every tree surrounding the dam. Did NOT have a natature conservation vibe. For the money spent I would rather pay a little extra and stay in one of the many reserve lodges in the area.

ZAAfricamps was a great place to stay. So relaxing. Lol ved the outdoor space and the fireplace inside. Loved the high quality bedding that made it ao comfortable and feel like luxury.
