The reception staff. We arrived with my kids in tow at night and they barely greeted us. Definitely not with a smile. Was made to carry our own bags (5 large suitcases) to the room. No parking for car, have to find your own street parking and walk to hotel. When we left the hotel trying to navigate our kids and luggage out the door to the car no one even thought to help, except a beautiful cleaner lady who stopped what she was doing and helped me carry my bag to the car. For the amount we paid I definitely expected more. Would not come back based on how we were treated.

Location

I had an extremely distressing experience during my recent stay at this hotel. The in-room safety box was broken, and despite trusting the hotel with our belongings, we became victims of theft. A significant amount of cash was stolen, and—most shockingly—a piece of jewelry worth $15,000 disappeared from our room. What’s worse is the hotel’s lack of urgency or accountability. Security protocols were clearly inadequate, and the management failed to take the situation seriously or offer any meaningful resolution. I came here expecting a safe and comfortable stay, but instead left feeling violated and completely let down.

Terrible communication from hotel beforehand - over 1 / 2 weeks to reply (if at all), refusing to email (no hotel email I could find). Promised a cab from the airport (our expense) - have screenshots. Didn’t arrive, zero apology from the hotel. No “Hello, welcome…” upon arrival, in fact not one single smile or hello in passing from a single female member of staff throughout. The male staff were fine. They hate children. We had two under 3 (so a bulky double-stroller) and were put on the lowest level - had to navigate lots of narrow stairs in the dark with all our luggage, with a little help from the bellhop. Receptionist promised they’d move us first thing the next AM - of course they didn’t. No further help forthcoming when moving things up stairs - other guests kindly helped carry when they saw we were struggling & the staff were ignoring us. For some reason they took away our electricity card twice whilst out - leaving us to wait for a replacement in the dark and slamming the phone down for us having the temerity to ask for the card back! Air-conditioning (July) in one of our rooms never once worked. In the other room it couldn’t be adjusted/turned off. Safe didn’t work in one room. Didn’t feel comfortable bringing these things up with the staff due to their general attitude. Staff smoked on-site. Minor: Tiny elevator! Breakfast nothing special (rude staff). Only begrudgingly gave change of €50. Horrible staff aside - attractive, clean hotel in good location, otherwise1*

La ubicación es excelente. Está a unos 500 metros a pie del centro, lo que lo hace muy cómodo si te gusta salir a pasear. Es recomendable contar con vehículo para trasladarse a las playas. El hotel es bonito, tiene una terraza hermosa aunque no había mucho movimiento (la imaginamos con más vida nocturna). Buena atención del personal. Linda piscina (y limpia).

La relación precio calidad no era buena. Si bien el hotel es lindo, el mobiliario no es lujoso sino más bien un poco anticuado. El desayuno está bien, pero hay ítems que no se encuentran incluidos lo que me parece erróneo de acuerdo con la categoría del hotel (por ejemplo, el jugo de naranja lo cobran adicional). Hay pocas cocheras y se cobran adicionalmente (me parecieron caras).

L’insonorisation (à partir de 7h difficile de dormir entre le bruit d’eau et des portes qui claquent de façon intempestive)… la climatisation est assez vétuste. L’hôtel est très vieillissant dans son ensemble
