Just returned from our 14th trip to BoPhut Resort and Spa, over the last 12 years, our friends , who are also regulars, chose to have his 70th birthday celebration there, and the set up on the beach was nothing short of amazing , the staff at the resort are what makes it special, Mr Nik, the manager makes sure that everything is perfect, Duang in the spa, ensures the massages are perfect, highly recommend the BoPhut signature 90 minute massage, the dinner we had at Sala Thai was perfect as always, with Natty giving great service, the breakfast buffet is fantastic, and the omelette made to order are recommended, with the sweet treats selection hard to resist. It is also only an 8 minute walk to the fishermen’s village markets, which are now on 5 nights a week, great street food and 100 Thai baht cocktails, cannot recommend this resort enough

We stayed at a Garden Pool Villa at this beautiful boutique resort in January 2025, and we are incredibly pleased that we did. This is a fantastic small resort complete with beautiful, tranquil gardens, two lovely restaurants, a team of wonderful staff, and an atmosphere of peace that was so much needed. My wife is disabled, so when we plan holidays there is a significant amount of additional administration necessary. However, the communications from this resort were second to none, responses to my questions always being polite, thorough and incredibly prompt. Believe me, they know their stuff here and their attention to detail is flawless. They even had ramps in place at key locations so that my wife could use her mobility scooter throughout the resort. A huge thank you to the team for this, it is greatly appreciated. Our villa was wonderful and spotless, as was the whole of the resort. All of the staff were fantastic and so very helpful, and the restaurant for breakfast had a good selection and looked out to the Gulf of Thailand which provided a lovely start to each and every day. We booked a table at the Salathip Thai restaurant one evening, and when it was lit up amongst the gardens and its pond full of fish it was a beautiful sight to behold. The food was good too, so it was all in all a tranquil and inspiring evening. By the way, Salathip is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays only, whilst the main restaurant (which also acts as the bar next to the pool) is open all day every day. Although the resort was full, you never got that impression at all. There is no loud noise whatsoever, and on the one occasion a small group got slightly rowdy, this was immediately stopped by the staff. It is perfect for people seeking a peaceful holiday, and is sat right on the beach. The sea is within metres of the resort and is very clean with the beach spotless, and the swimming pool is at a perfect temperature too. Outside of the resort there are various restaurants and a bar or two, and directly across the road from the entrance is a massage and laundry place. We had laundry done twice there and they were lovely, friendly people, so I highly recommend that. If in doubt, just book this wonderful resort. It is spot on.

We stayed at the Bo Phut Resort and Spa back in 2012, and had such good memories that when we were returning to Koh Samui we decided book it again. I must admit we did have slight reservations, as it was so good last time, and we were worried that time would have dated the hotel. We really shouldn't have worried!! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, so well maintained, and looked after, the attention to detail and small touches of things like the flower arrangements, and the turn down service are lovely. The staff are just amazing, from the pool staff helping with sun-beds and umbrellas. The restaurant and bar staff, the maintainance staff and the maids, everyone made us feel welcome. The location is perfect, maybe 5-10mins along the beach to the Fisherman's Village with many bars and restaurants. Bo Phut has changed in the last 14years, it is busier, and there are more modern, western/fusion restaurants, but it is still amazing, and has a great atmosphere. The local people are so friendly and helpful. We can honestly say that the Bo Phut Resort and Spa is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Thank you so much to all of the staff at the Bo Phut Resort and Spa - we won't leave it 14 years before we return again.

After reviewing some of the terrible reviews, I can’t phantom why. This property is amazing, more expensive than most places in Thailand, but worth every penny. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and carefree. I’ve travelled over 45 years to many different countries and the Thai people Are friendly and do everything in theory power to make you happy. The premises are beautiful, the rooms are exquisite. I’am Here for a week but I will be extending my stay to enjoy being pampered. I truly can’t understand somebody giving a bad review to this place, I would recommend this place to all of my friends and family.

This is our third visit in o this resort and we have been as impressed as ever during our stay We feel the intimate environment is deeply relaxing and the staff make every effort to personalize your time and pay close attention to their guests

Myself and my husband stayed in this wonderful resort in early December and we had an amazing week. We have stayed in many hotels and I would say this is one of the best we have stayed in. I’m afraid due to my late review I have forgotten staff names but every staff member we encountered was absolutely amazing and made us feel so special. We arrived in the hotel and we were met by the head receptionist who was so friendly and informative and she walked us to our room and talked us through everything we needed to know to get the best from our stay. We stayed in a Garden Villa which was really beautiful and so private and peaceful and kept so clean everyday. Breakfast each morning and lunch in the afternoon was delicious and the staff were extremely attentive. The staff at the poolside were always on hand to provide fresh towels and layed them out on the sunbed for us. We were given fresh fruit and cold towels as we relaxed on the sunbed each day. We availed of the spa and myself and my husband had a treatment each was wonderful. We were so relaxed after our treatment. It is very clear to see that the staff and management of this hotel take customer service very seriously. We could not fault one thing and would return in a heartbeat. Many thanks to all the staff for making our holiday so special.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A perfectly judged resort - relaxed, elegant and faultless service We absolutely loved our stay at Bo Phut Resort & Spa and would return 100% without hesitation. It was the ideal way to start our Thailand beach holiday, a beautiful, boutique-style resort with a calm, relaxed atmosphere that immediately helps you unwind after travelling. What Bo Phut does exceptionally well is balance. You can completely switch off within the hotel, yet Fisherman’s Village is just moments away if you want restaurants, bars and a bit of energy. It’s the best of both worlds. We stayed over New Year, which can be a difficult time for hotels to manage, but the atmosphere was spot on. Festive, lively and great fun, yet never overcrowded or chaotic. It felt well organised, thoughtful and genuinely enjoyable, with guests clearly having a wonderful time while the resort retained its relaxed, elegant feel. The service deserves special mention. It was consistently warm, attentive and natural, never forced or overbearing, and this really elevated the experience for us. The staff strike that perfect balance of being present when you need them and invisible when you don’t, which is harder to achieve than it sounds. The food was excellent throughout our stay - high quality, well presented and clearly taken seriously by the resort. Dining felt like part of the experience rather than an afterthought, and it was something we genuinely looked forward to each day. The beach itself is lovely, but we found ourselves spending most of our time around the pool, dipping between the pool and the sea, which worked perfectly. The overall feel of the resort is understated luxury rather than flashy or pretentious; calm, tasteful and very well judged. The guest mix felt well balanced, though it is particularly well suited to couples and those seeking relaxed luxury rather than a family-focused resort. Importantly, there was honestly nothing we didn’t love, and we’ve stayed in some truly incredible places over the years. A faultless start to our Thailand journey and a resort we would wholeheartedly recommend and absolutely return to.

What can you say about this hotel and resort other than its fabulous! When we arrived we were very kindly welcomed by the staff with greetings and drinks. We were escorted to our room which was beautiful. The detail and beaty in this hotel is stunning. The gardens are like a retreat everywhere you look the view is different and beautiful. The pool which sits right next to the beach is perfect. The food is delicious especially the Thailand Restaurant the choice is many. The staff cannot do enough for you and we thank you all so much for making our stay such a memorable one. We will be back. Jan and Alanx

The most relaxing experience. I had a the best massage I’ve ever had. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Everything was clean and calming. Everyone was so kind. Overall my stay is outstanding with a beautiful dinner and meal! 10/10 recommend.

The spa here is excellent. I had a very relaxing massage with Nun. The spa has 6 different aromatic scents to choose from, and you can’t go wrong with any of them. They serve a refreshing tea before the massage and a warm, calming tea after. Would definitely come back again!
