The team right from security, house keeping , F&B front office were full of energy, very helpful and courteous. Impressed to see a global level of services by the hotel.

The location is little offset with connecting road not being good

The fixtures and fittings are all modern and clean. The restaurant did great food at breakfast and dinner. The location is good, but be aware it’s a short but very uphill walk to the Mall and Ridge.

We booked a suite with a bath. On arrival we were given a suite with no bath and it became quickly apparent why the photos of this room had the curtains drawn. It was immediately above the entrance and car park with no view. We were moved to a lesser room with a lovely view but no discount on the price was offered. On day two we had a morning hike and had pre booked 2pm treatments at the Spa. When we arrived 5pm slots were suggested due to the noise of building work. We had a trip planned for 5pm so said “don’t worry about the noise, we’ll go ahead” it was at this point the Spa team admitted they had another commitment and couldn’t fulfil our appointment, so we had been lied to! If we’d been told in advance that would have been ok, but it really messed up our plans. Throughout our stay the hairdryer wouldn’t work, my wife has long hair so needs it. The plug wouldn’t stay in the socket. We had 3 replacements, a promised visit from maintenance never arrived and it was just very annoying. The staff were always very polite but weren’t empowered to make decisions, every question was responded with “take a seat while I talk to my manager” this isn’t their fault, it’s a failure of the leadership on site.

It was ok. A large property and I felt like I was the only one there. Service is friendly but slow. It’s a bit of a walk to the Mall Rd - but the shuttle is handy. No gym/fitness centre and the pool is isn’t heated. Overall an OK stay. I didn’t love it, but it wasn’t bad
