Steigenberger Hotel de Saxe

I did like everything about the hotel. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The choice at the restaurant was a bit small and I did not really appreciate that I had to pay to get into the wellness center

Excellent staff and location, clean and comfortable rooms

This is my second time in Steigenberger hotels, very high standard in every aspect, I couldn't improve on anything. The location is spot on, I will not try anywhere else next visit for sure. Thank you for making my visit to Dresden such great experience.

We loved the hotel, its location, the friendliness of the staff and the breakfast service. The hotel is located in the heart of historic district with easy access to all the sites, many restaurants, train station and river front. We had a bit of an issue with the temperature control in the room, but we resolved it by letting the window open a bit. The staff was very responsive to our needs also. If we are back in this area again, we would definitely stay there!!

The front desk service is amazing, however the room cleaning service is no where close. I came back one night with dirty cups and espresso machine parts nearby sink. I also didn’t get any shampoo replenish for my 6 nights stays! Overall still an amazing place to stay but room service can use some improvement.

I was given a room in the attic with tiny window so asked to change as like light and space. This was organised. The hotel had a political convention all the time I was there. It was very clear guests came second. The hotel was cordoned off and I had to show my hotel pass so many times to get thru the cordon. There was no access to lounge or anywhere but my room to sit it was ike being a prisoner. I was once offered a seat in a back corner of the lobby but advised the speeches would be held in the lobby so it would be very noisy. I feel if the conference is this big guests should be advised when booking it certainly wasnt suitable to stay in if on holiday. Reception staff made it clear they didnt want to help gave vacant stares and glared at people asking questions altogether an uncomfortable stay in what became a prison like atmosphere

Lovely welcome and helpful friendly staff. Our room was so comfortable. We had a great stay.

Everything was wonderful. Location is unbeatable. Staff was courteous. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
